14k Opal Pearl Delicate En Tremblant Flower Necklace

A flower on a spring. That’s all en tremblant really means: the blossom is mounted on a tiny coiled wire, so it trembles every time you move. Jewelers started this in the 1800s so stones would catch candlelight. On this one, it mostly makes the flower look like someone just walked past it.

An opal sits at the center, with pearls gathered around it like the flower couldn’t decide between moonlight and morning. The work is small and fine. This isn’t a piece that announces itself from across the room. You notice it up close, usually right when it moves.

It’s delicate in the literal sense, so treat it kindly. No ultrasonic cleaners, no perfume, and no sharing a drawer with your diamonds. Wipe it with a soft cloth and let it shiver in peace.

In very good condition with minor wear throughout and no significant flaws or defects. Note that the clasp is in the front with the pendant portion of the necklace for easy on/ off.
