18k Art Deco Multi-Colored Gemstone Station Necklace

A full rainbow spectrum in a single, long chain. French, Art Deco, 18k yellow gold. This lovely necklace is a continuous run of bezel set gemstones - semi-precious, glass and synthetic. Worn long, it reads as a quietly maximalist statement. Doubled, it becomes something else entirely. 

The gemstones are glass (green stones), semi-precious (amethyst, citrine, garnet, sapphire) and synthetic (spinel). Yes, that's a very mixed bag but 100% period appropriate. A few of the gemstones have minor surface abrasions because this lovely has had a roaringly great time with many more lifetimes to live.  The spring ring and dog clip are fully functional and ready for you to add charms or none at all. Either way, this piece is a perfect addition to any "perfectly imperfect" collection.
