Retro 14k/ Silver Sapphire Brooch/ Earrings

This Retro-era set — think 1940s, when jewelry got architectural and a little bold — does something we genuinely haven't encountered before. The industrial lines and natural sapphire cabochons are striking on their own. The fact that the whole thing reconfigures into earrings makes it absurd in the best possible way.

Wear the brooch to a meeting. Switch to the earrings for dinner. Tell no one how you did it.

The earring back and brooch frame are crafted in 14k rosy-ish gold and the sapphires are set in an interesting alloy of silver, platinum, gold and palladium, tested by XRF. The estimated total weight of the sapphire cabochons is 4.5 cts. 

In very good condition with minor wear throughout and no major flaws or defects.
